The slim design from the TA-991 offers a sleek solution for small cabs and in-vehicle communication needs. The design does not take away from the large front facing speaker for extra volume offering a staggering 3W audio output, large LCD display and icon-based menu for easy operation.
Much like the TA-990 the unit is feature rich for all industries of heavy transport, agriculture, mining, construction and service industries. With powerful features like GPS, SOS, Quick 3-digit Dial, Missed Call alert, Dual SIM and 4G LTE/GPS Antennas.

Features

• Group Call (One to Many)
  User can select pre-programmed groups and instigate a group call and talk to all members of the group. User can also be part of multiple groups and choose a primary group for transmission.
• Individual Private Call (One to One)
  User can select an individual radio or the dispatcher and perform a one on one private call outside the group.
• Internal GPS Engine
  The internal GPS engine reports its position every 60 seconds to the dispatcher (Programmable). GPS acquisition status is shown on the radio LCD display.
• Quick 3 Digit-Dial
  Utilizing the MC-202 keypad microphone the radio can seamlessly create private calls like traditional MPT systems. Once the 3 digits are dialled a private call will be setup instantly between the users. *Keypad microphone sold separately.
• Missed Call Alert
  Not responding to a private call after 20 seconds will leave a Missed Call Alert in the radio creating an audible tone for 30 minutes. Pressing the back key twice will display a Missed Call list with user name and time stamp display for call back access.
• Lock/Unlock Volume
  Prevent accidental volume changes, with lockable volume settings.
• Dedicated SOS
  A dedicated SOS button that when held in for 3 seconds sends an alert to all other units and an alert showing where the user is located on the Dispatcher’s map display.
• Voice Recordings
  The unit can have all the transmissions that are broadcasted or received recorded to the device. The recordings can be easily accessed through the user-friendly GUI.
