The LPM incorporates a built-in heater ensuring reliability and accuracy when operating in extremely cold environments. The intelligence of the electronics allows it to compensate against the influence of dirt and temperature, and optical components are protected against environmental influence, together, all these smarts allow for accurate and reliable precipitation measurements.
