This new cap is designed to fit scaffold tube, Y-Posts, and reinforcing bar sizes D10 – D16.

The caps are manufactured in UV stabilised Linear Low density yellow polyethylene and will assist with capping off and highlighting three potential hazards on building sites.

Firstly when used on scaffold tube Hi-Q Components 3-in-1 Protection Caps will:

• Cap off and highlight ends of exposed scaffold tube.
• Protect buildings and cladding from damage.
• Prevent water, debris or contaminates from entering inside the tube.
• Prevent objects being placed in the end of scaffold tube.

Secondly the caps will cap off and highlight the top of Y-Post stakes used for tree stakes, markers and temporary safety fencing.

Thirdly, the Hi-Q cap fits three sizes of reinforcing bar, D10, D12, and D16. Protruding reinforcing starter bars when capped off and highlighted with the cap are more easily seen and help to prevent potential injury to workers.

Available in four colours - yellow, green, orange and black

The new 3-in-1 caps add to the existing range of protection caps available from Hi-Q, which include nut and bolt protection caps and tube inserts for round, square and rectangular metal tube.
