Hand Winch
Hand Winch
The Systems Wire Rope Hand Winch is an extremely versatile winch in that it can be used at any angle and is not restricted in rope length. The design enables wire rope to be fed through 2 sets of wear resistant locking jaws by a single operating lever. The locking force on the wire rope increases as the load on the winch increases. Should the winch be overloaded the shear pins will shear and secure the load while avoiding damage to the unit.
Operating Instructions
Push the rope release lever (3) forward to the front end. Insert the tapered end of the wire rope through the wire inlet (4). Feed the rope until it extends through the outlet; when the desired length is obtained, lock the wire by pushing release lever (3) backward.
Remove the anchor pin from the front end of the winch, position your anchoring wire/chain or shackle between the slot and lock in the anchoring pin. To lock the anchoring pin, turn and push the pin into position and secure the pin with the safety clip.
To hoist or haul load, attach handle onto the operating lever (1), crank the operating lever (1) forward and backward evenly.
To lower load, attach handle onto the reversing lever (2), crank the reversing lever (2) backward and forward evenly.
