Friction Clutches

Reliance friction clutches are available with either a set screw or a clamp type hub, with bore sizes 4, 5 and 6 mm. Coupled with one of Reliance’s precision cut gears, these clutches provide zero backlash prior to slipping and are designed to protect actuators from torque damage.

• Adjustable slip torque setting with Nylatron friction lining.
• Flange material 9SMnPb28 (black finished).
• Bore sizes 4, 5 and 6 mm, tolerance H8 (+0/+0.018 mm)
• Gear not included and must be ordered separately.

Solid Couplings

Reliance solid couplings are available with bore sizes between 3 mm and 10 mm. Manufactured from stainless steel and aluminium alloy, they use precision honed bores to provide accurate location and a high clamping force where traditional flexible couplings would not be appropriate. Nypatch® anti-vibration hardware is used on all variants.

Shaft Clamp Collars

Reliance shaft clamp collars are available with threaded bores and plain bores. Both clamp and setscrew style fixings are available.

Clamp collars – One or two piece clamp collars to clamp onto shafts without leaving marks. Available in Aluminium and Stainless Steel. Bore sizes from 3 mm to 10 mm.

One-piece threaded collars – One piece Stainless Steel clamp collars with threaded bores to clamp onto shafts with threads cut on them. Threaded bore sizes from M4 to M10.

One-piece set screw collars – One piece Stainless Steel clamp collars with set screw clamping. Bore sizes from 4 mm to 10 mm.

Double-width shaft clamp collars – One or two piece wide clamp collars to clamp onto shafts without leaving marks. Available in Aluminium and Stainless Steel. Bore sizes from 6 mm to 10 mm.
