A cost-effective detection solution for wide entrances, the i5 infra-red safety beam consists of a transmitter and receiver unit mounted opposite each other. The PE beam is simple to align, extremely reliable and boast a 40 metre operating range.

Applications

With a wide operating range of up to 40m the i5 PE beams can be used on gates, garage doors, and even for simple perimeter protection
Custom designed mounting brackets with multiple pre-drilled holes allows easy mounting on any profile of the gate.

Features

Green LED's in the transmitter illuminates when the power supply is ON and in the receiver when the beam is aligned
Transmitter sends a modulated infra-red beam to the receiver, when the beam is interrupted the receiver relay gives a signal to stop or open the door or gate
The contacts of the relay are potential free and can be wired as normally opened or closed
The beams are self-aligning up to 10 metres and can operate up to 40 metres
They are housed in an IP54 ABS waterproof enclosure.
