All of our stick rakes are made using 400 grade bislloy in the tines to provide superior strength against the many mild steel rakes on the market. We only have 1 stabiliser bar on all rakes (except 1.7T which has none) as more are not required when the tines are made from BIS400.

Our rakes are designed so that the bottom 1/3 of each tine is clean to go into the ground. We don’t put teeth on the end or add extra stabiliser bars as they are not required when BIS400 is used as it has much more superior yield strength. We also recommend not to add any hardfacing to the tines as that will only destroy the quench properties of the Bisalloy.
