The Magnaflux Y-2 is an AC electromagnetic yoke engineered for fast, reliable magnetic particle testing (MPI) of ferrous components. Its lightweight, ergonomic grip and trigger reduce arm and wrist fatigue during extended inspections, while a field-swappable power cord and isolated, replaceable trigger switch mean a damaged cord or switch no longer takes the whole tool out of service. An IP54 o-ring sealed housing keeps dust and moisture out, making the Y-2 a durable choice for tough working environments, from workshops to offshore platforms.
