Smart Vision System

Techman Collaborative Robots are fitted with a vision system that has quickly challenged the stereotype of a traditional industrial robot. This built-in intelligent vision system, incorporating an integrated 5MP camera is a huge technological breakthrough for TM Robot, producing the perfect integration of the vision system with the collaborative robot hardware and TM-Flow software. You no longer have to face complicated visual components like before, nor waste time spent in researching an unfamiliar robotic field. Now, all you need is a TM Robot, which can do everything for you. What can the vision system achieve - for example the integrated camera can read bar codes, QR codes, differentiate colours and shapes and even read text. Imagine what it could do for you?

The TM Robot vision system has received recognition from many robot vision manufacturers and TM Robot are Red Dot award winners. The functions it provides include totem pairing, object position, image enhancement mode, bar code identification, and colour differentiation. These diversified functions have all been integrated in the control system of the TM Flow Robot. Only by setting the steps, you can design the robot’s tasks.

Programme a simple pick & place function in just 5 minutes!

In combination with TM Robot manual teaching and the built-in intelligent vision system, you can complete pick & place function in only 5 minutes. You don’t even need to have an extensive programming background to successfully programme at Techman cobot. Even operators who have no robotics or programming experience can learn to programme straightforward tasks very quickly - for example in the accompanying video, one of our sales team programmed the cobot to solve a puzzle with zero former robotics or automation programming skills.

Simple and Safe

TM-Flow has made each tool module simple to use. Operate and programme TM Robots via a tablet, computer or smartphone. This makes for painlessly start-up, quick learning and the ability to create a genuine main-machine collaborative environment.

A 150N Force Limiting cobot. TM cobots comply with the safety requirements for collaboration of humans and robots as specified in ISO 10218. When the robot collides with an object and has been detected by the sensor, it will immediately stop to protect personal safety.

There are four collaborative robots in the range to suit virtually any cobot application.

• TM5-700 – 6kg payload and 600mm reach  (pictured in the accompanying video)
• TM5-900 – 4kg payload and 900mm reach
• TM12 – 12kg payload and 1300mm reach (can palletise to an Australian 1165mm pallet)
• TM14 – 14kg payload and 1100mm reach
