Both Acrylic and polycarbonate are suitable for outdoor use. Acrylic is 11 times stronger than glass and will not shatter like glass. Polycarbonate is 250 times stronger than glass and is almost unbreakable.
For more demanding and high traffic applications we offer Abrasion Resistant Polycarbonate which resists incidental scratches associated with cleaning, handling and constant rubbing by users and patrons.
