Bestech Australia highly recommends Keller Series 41 and 41X Ei pressure transmitters for measuring low pressure, such as in water tanks, mining and gas operations, utilising ceramic measurement technology and the well established Series 30 digital electronics.

The combination of the two technologies provides high precision measurement combined with high tolerance to over-pressure, plus the application flexibility of both analogue and digital output signals.

All Series 41 and 41X Ei low pressure transmitters are programmable with respect to their full scale and zero output signal. For example, a Series 41X Ei transmitter with 10kPa full scale range may be programmed so that the signal zero (4 mA) is 2 kPa and the (20 mA) full scale is at 6 kPa. The free issue Keller PROG30 programming software enables the scaling function, calibration check, as well as enabling up to 128 Series 41, and/or Series 41X low pressure transmitters, to share the same bus connected to a host PC®.

Full scale pressure ranges are from 30kPa to 300kPa (0.42psi to 4.21psi). Analogue output signals options include 4 to 20 mA via 2 wire current loop, and 0 to 10Vdc via a three wire connection. Digital outputs are transmitted via a Keller RS485 K100 series digital converter module to suit the user's configuration. 'Free issue' Keller READ 30 PC® compatible software enables the live data from the pressure transmitters to be read and logged in user chosen table or graphical display configurations on the user's PC® or Laptop®.

Precision grades for the Keller Series 41and 41X low pressure sensors from Bestech Australia are 0.1% FS and 0.2% FS for the digital output signal over the temperature compensated range of 10 to 50°C. Internal temperature sensors, combined with the Series 30 internal microprocessor, enable this impressive temperature compensation band. The analogue signals are not digitally compensated and therefore, the precision grade over the same temperature band is marginally lower for the analogue signals.

The Series 41X Ei low pressure transmitters have the same characteristics as the Series 41, but in addition, the Series 41X is ATEX certified as Intrinsically Safe when used in conjunction with appropriate safety barriers.
