Robust, Reliable, High Throughput

The Barclay Secondary Tyre Shredder is part of the Vertech premium equipment range and is designed to deliver high-precision chip sizing for tyre recycling systems. Available in three models—1.4S, 2.0S, and 3.6S—it processes pre-shredded material into clean, uniform chips of 1.4″”, 2″”, or 3.6″” (35mm, 50mm, or 90mm). Ideal for TDF (tyre Derived Fuel) production or granulating, the shredder runs efficiently in-line with a primary shredder.

Top-feed design allows for oversize material to be re-fed, ensuring targeted sizing is consistently achieved. Featuring premium Cru-Wear tool steel blades and precision AISI D-2 tool steel bases, the machine offers long wear life and cutting accuracy. Rotating strippers prevent jamming and downtime, while a heavy-duty chain feed system with adjustable tensioners ensures smooth throughput.
